In the hills, a fresh Western Disturbance will once again bring widespread snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand”, informed a meteorologist at Skymet Weather.

So far snowfall in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir has been nearing the normal average for the month of January, i.e. around 40 mm as opposed to 49.6 mm of snow (normal figure).
