It seems that Delhi is been indulged in a passing affair with the hot weather conditions that has gripped parts of the capital city. Delhiites have been witnessing scorching summer heat from last three days that has made the weather conditions in the capital of the country uneasy and uncomfortable.
However, some respite from the boiling mercury levels is foreseen in Delhi. Skymet Weather predicts that one or two rainy spells along with thunderstorms and thundershowers are likely to make their way towards the national capital and adjoining areas.
As per the weathermen at Skymet Weather, the Western Disturbance is moving across Jammu and Kashmir and an induced cyclonic circulation is over Pakistan and adjoining North Rajasthan. Moreover, the southerly and southeasterly winds are also fueling in to increase humidity over these regions.
Thus, the combined effect of all these weather systems will result in rains and thundershowers along with dust storms over these regions particularly towards late afternoon or evening hours today. Squally winds in parts of the national capital are also a slight possibility. These pre-Monsoon activities are expected to continue lashing the region for next 48 hours.
On account of these pre-Monson rains, maximum temperatures may also drop marginally thus giving a slight relief to the people in Delhi from the scorching summer heat. Though these showers are not likely to have a major impact but the daytime high may curtail down by one or two degrees in the next one or two days.
