392 mm of rain has been recorded in Rajkot in central Gujarat from 8:30 am on 25 September to 8:30 am on 26 September. It is the highest rain in a single day in Rajkot. The previous highest rainfall recorded in the city in a single day was in 1984 when 238.1mm was recorded.
More than 72 mm of rain has occured in the city today since 8:30 am on 26th of September and it is expected that till 8:30 am tomorrow it could record over 150 mm. The weather system (a low pressure area) responsible for this rain still persists so heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Rajkot and nearby areas in the next 24 hours.
