Rain and thunderstorm in Bareilly, Bijnore, Noida, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Varanasi during next 24 hrs

In the wake of easterly winds, dry and hot weather conditions have been prevailing over entire Uttar Pradesh region since the last 24 to 36 hours. Due to the presence of an upper air trough passing across southern parts of Uttar Pradesh, moisture increased over the region and weather conditions became worse.

In fact, due to the Western Disturbance moving across the higher latitudes, short spell of rain and thundershower activities occurred over few pockets in northern parts of Uttar Pradesh only.

Now, since this upper air trough will be persisting and another Western Disturbance will be approaching, hot and humid weather conditions will continue to prevail over Uttar Pradesh.

However, another spell of weather activity will affect the region especially the western, northern and eastern parts of the state during the next 24 to 36 hours.

Spell of rain and thundershowers with strong winds will occur over Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Azamgarh, Badaun, Baghpat, Bahraich, Ballia, Balrampur, Bara Banki, Bareilly, Basti, Bijnore, Bulandshehar, Chandauli, Deoria, Etah, Faizabad, Farukabad, Firozabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Ghazipur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Hapur, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Kanauji, Kanshiram Nagar, Kheri, Kushalnagara, Lucknow, Mahamaya Nagar, Mahrajganj, Mainpuri, Mathura, Mau, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Rampur, Saharanpur, Sambhal, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi), Shahjahanpur, Shamli, Shrawasti, Siddharthnagar, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur, Unnao and Varanasi the districts of Uttar Pradesh during the next 24-36 hours.

But as mentioned before, these weather activities would occur during the latter part of the day. As a result, we do not expect any relief from the hot and sultry weather.

Thereafter, weather conditions will improve and become dry and warm once again. But day temperatures are expected to witness a rising trend.
