The weather during the day usually has been warm and sunny for the past few days. In fact the minimums have also increased by 2°C to 3°C.

Now, a trough has formed over Central Pakistan and adjoining North Rajasthan and Haryana. Due to this system, we expect isolated thunderstorm or thundershower activity over West Haryana and adjoining Southwest Punjab.

Districts such as Fatehabad and Sirsa in Haryana and Bhatinda and Muktsar in Punjab may receive short spells of rain or thundershower activity. The weather activities are expected to commence by morning of February 21 and will continue until the night. Meanwhile, the remaining districts of Haryana and Punjab are expected to remain dry and warm. As the rain spells will be localized, the temperatures will not witness any major change.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, another spell of rain is possible over both the states on February 24 and 25. During that time, many other districts are expected to witness rain and thundershower activity. However, rainy spell will remain patchy and short-lived even then.
