Higher reaches of the hills of North India have seen snowfall, courtesy the trail of Western Disturbances that have been affecting the Western Himalayas. Weather activity will reduce now for the next two days until another system makes an appearance.
November 13 onward, snowfall may be seen over the hills including Himachal Pradesh but the system may not be very strong as to affect the entire state of Himachal Pradesh.
There may be a short break in between and another Western Disturbance will start affecting the hilly regions November 15 onward.
The last system gave good snowfall over the hills, particularly over Himachal Pradesh. Many tourist destinations saw snow including Rohtang Pass, Lahaul Spiti. Earlier this region used to get cut off whenever snowfall would take place. However, now due to the Atal Tunnel, the connectivity between Lahaul Spiti and another regions of Himachal Pradesh remains intact.
Shimla, Dalhousie, Dharamsala and Chamba may not see anything specific in terms of intense rain and snow.
