According to Skymet Weather, Monsoon surge has been prevailing over the city which has infused lots of moisture over the city. This has made conditions favourable for development of convective clouds over the city.

However, with Monsoon going weak over the region, we expect rains to now take back seat for next two days. However, isolated light rain cannot be ruled out.

So far, the city has already recorded 164 mm of rain, surpassing its monthly average rainfall of 116.1 mm.
