Pune received good rains in the form of moderate showers from the end of July till August 6. Since then the weather has not gone completely dry but light rains are continuing over the city at a few places. These rains are continuing throughout August. Although the rain intensity has gone down.
Now, also we do not expect much weather activities over Pune. However light patchy rains may continue at one or two places for another two days.
Thereafter the weather is expected to go dry as weather activities will subside over entire Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Marathwada after August 25. These rain activities will remain subdued and almost dry weather conditions are expected to prevail over Pune and many parts of Madhya Maharashtra until July 28 or 29.
Thereafter, again there may be some increase in rain activities, but we do not expect any heavy rains to lash the city.
We can say that the weather may remain pleasant and comfortable, but weather activities will remain subdued over the city for the next few days. There will not be any significant weather activity. However isolated or localized weather activities cannot be ruled out.
Residents can remain relieved as there is no threat of flooding or waterlogging over the city.
