These weather systems can be attributed to the axis of Monsoon trough which is seen running along the foothills of Himalayas. Also, no prominent weather system is likely to prevail over Maharashtra and adjoining areas. Due to which, mainly dry weather conditions are expected to continue over the most parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada for at least next eight to ten days.

Moreover, Vidarbha will continue to receive scattered light rainfall activities for the next 24 hours and eventually will turn mainly dry. In fact, light to moderate Monsoon showers cannot be ruled out over Konkan & Goa region.
