Maharashtra is all set to see an upcoming spell of rains. Most of the pockets are in the process of harvest or the harvest period is just coming up, which means that the crops will be suffering due to hailstorm which will be seen on March 17 and 18.
Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha will be the ones seeing rains. Rains will commence today itself over Vidarbha and Marathwada. Tomorrow, all three subdivision will begin to see rains. Rainfall will pick up around March 17.
On march 17, we can expect all three subdivisions to observe both the rainfall as well as hailstorm. March 18, rains will be largely over Vidarbha as rains will start vacating some parts. Vidarbha may see rains until March 19 and 20 with remnants even affecting until March 21 as well.
