The state of Madhya Pradesh has not had the best of Monsoon so far. After August, West Madhya Pradesh had gone below normal at -22 percent because of a prolonged dry spell in August. East Madhya Pradesh is within the normal range of -15 percent.
However, Madhya Pradesh is all set to see good and a prolonged spell of rain. Heavy rains will be seen in some parts of the state. In fact, heavy rains are expected over both east and western parts. May not be simultaneous but all parts will be covered.
Cities of Sagar, Satna, Rewa, Umaria, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjian, Khargone, Khandwa, Neemach, Ratlam, Bhopal, Datia, Morena, Tikamgarh, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, and Sheopur will be the ones seeing rains.
With these rains, the rain deficiency may be covered up during this time. These showers will be attributed to the Low-Pressure Area, which is moving inside now. The system is a slow moving one and will hover around Madhya Pradesh for long. The system won't go far into Rajasthan for the next few days.
