Rajasthan has been recording on and off rainfall activity since the beginning of March. However, the intensity of rain was very light in nature. At present, the prevailing Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir has induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan. Therefore, we expect isolated pre Monsoon rain and thundershower activities over Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.

In fact, the expected rain and thundershower activity will be for a short duration and patchy in nature as the cyclonic circulation is feeble in nature.
Places such as Jaipur, Sikar, Churu, and Pilani are anticipated to witness weather activity.
However, this Western Disturbance is not very active. Hence, the induced cyclonic circulation would also fade away in the next 24 hours. With this, the weather of Rajasthan is expected to become dry.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, huge thunderclouds would not form across the region. Therefore the chances of hailstorm activity are minimal. Hence the upcoming rain activity will not pose any threat to the crops.
In wake of the rains, the day temperatures may fall marginally but due to isolated activities, the relief from the harsh weather will be short-lived. The day will be warm with partly cloudy sky conditions and the temperatures would settle between 33°C and 36°C.
Meanwhile, the weather during the morning and night hours is expected to be comfortable in the northern and central parts, the minimums would range between 13°C and 16°C. However, the weather will be a little warm in the southern and western parts as the minimums would settle between 17°C and 19°C.
