Hot and humid weather has been prevailing over the City of Nawabs. In fact, throughout the month of May, apart from a few irregular showers, Hyderabad remained mostly dry. However, on and off rains are going the city since the last two days.

According to Skymet Weather, the weather activity over Hyderabad is anticipated to intensify. This is due to a cyclonic circulation that lies over the central parts of Arabian Sea off Maharashtra coast and a trough which is extending from this system up to Kerala and Karnataka coast.

Formation of clouds is expected which would lead to rainfall over Hyderabad and nearby districts today. This pre-Monsoon weather activity is likely to continue up to another three to four days. Temperatures are likely to decrease in the city of Nawabs and nearby districts. Weather will become pleasant and will give a sigh of relief from the humid and dry weather conditions to the people.

The weather conditions appear to be favorable for the further advancement of Monsoon into more parts of South India, thus rains will once again pick up the pace over Telangana including Hyderabad. The arrival of Monsoon over the state is predicted to be between June 7 and June 10.
