Now, as per weather experts at Skymet Weather, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected to continue over Odisha and along the coastline of Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours or so.

Thereafter, these activities will decrease significantly, as the trough is most expected to shift towards the west over Vidarbha and Marathwada, wherein scattered rain and thundershowers will bring some respite from the dominant dry and warm weather. While there would be drop in the day temperatures by three to four degrees, but the day maximums over Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will start rising.

However, the heatwave conditions that became a matter of anguish are not expected to retort anytime soon.
