Further, Skymet Weather predicts light to moderate rains along with one or two heavy spells to continue over Bihar as well as Jharkhand.

Places such as Daltonganj, Ranchi and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand; Bhagalpur, Purnea, Supaul in Bihar will witness these pre-Monsoon weather activities.

As the Monsoon has not yet reached this region of the country, accordingly the chances of occurrence of these showers would be mainly either during the early morning or late afternoon and evening hours.

Weathermen are of the view that the rain intensity might lessen after 24 hours. However, scattered rains are most expected to continue until Monsoon enters these states, which is likely to be around June 12-13.
