After a hot and dry weather conditions giving the residents of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh the taste of the summer heat, we now have some weather activity in the store. With this, very soon, the mercury is most likely to shift gears.

At present, a feeble trough is seen extending from Bihar up to Karnataka across Chhattisgarh. Due to this, isolated rainfall activities are likely to occur over parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh.

In fact, during the last 24 hours have also been slightly rainy for both the state. Few districts of Chhattisgarh including Malanjkhand (0.6 mm), Bilaspur and Mana have recorded light traces of rainfall activity.

Now, isolated rain and thundershower activities are expected to continue in this state for the next 36 hours. The trough will gradually become more marked along the trough line. Therefore, the weather activities will significantly increase and the weather conditions are likely to remain pleasant for the next few days.

According to the Skymet weathermen, scattered rain and thundershower activities are likely to cover Madhya Pradesh in the next 36 hours. These pre-Monsoon activities will help keep the temperatures under control and the prevailing heatwave conditions over Madhya Pradesh are not likely to make a comeback.
