Now, the weather situation is expected to yet again turn around. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over Punjab and adjoining areas. Also, a trough is extending from this weather system up to Chhattisgarh across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

In the wake of these weather systems, we can expect pre-Monsoon showers to resume once more over the northwestern plains by June 9.

As per Skymet Weather, isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and North Rajasthan are most expected to witness dust storm or thundershowers. The intensity of these weather activities is likely to be much more over the western parts of Uttar Pradesh such as Meerut, Bareilly, Muzaffarnagar and Etah.

These on and off thundershowers or dust storm would continue until June 11 over almost the entire plains of Northwest India.

In fact, day temperatures are expected to plummet marginally over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. However, even with these pre-monsoon activities, the weather conditions will continue to be warm and humid over the entire chunk.
