Pre Monsoon activities are going to kick start in Central India. Many parts of the region are going to experience rain and thundershowers between March 4 and 7.

According to Skymet Weather, a fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach the northern hills by the night of March 4. The system is expected to induce a Cyclonic Circulation over West Rajasthan from which a Trough is going to extend towards East India across North Madhya Pradesh. Thus, isolated rain is expected to commence in North Madhya Pradesh by the night of March 4.

From the same system, another Trough is going to extend up to the Northeast Arabian Sea across Rajasthan and Gujarat leading to isolated light rain in Northwest Rajasthan, parts of Saurashtra and Kutch by the morning of March 5.

After some time, the weather activities may also commence in parts of Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. There are chances of isolated hailstorm activities in parts of Vidarbha and Rajasthan.

From March 6, rains would start subsiding from Gujarat and most parts of Rajasthan, but the northern districts of Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar might keep on receiving rain and thundershowers. Similarly, few pockets of Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh may continue to get scattered showers.

By March 7, rains from a large part of Central India would subside and remain confined only to one or two pockets of Chhattisgarh.
