Pre monsoon activities to continue over southern peninsula

Southern parts of the country have been receiving some rainfall in fact, during the last 24 hours, moderate rainfall has been seen over parts of Tamil Nadu Kerala as well as coastal Karnataka while light rainfall was seen in some more parts of south India.

A Cyclonic Circulation is seen over southeast Caribbean sea along with that another cyclonic circulation is seen on the other side which is over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining gulf of Mannar.

Due to this particular system, rainfall activity is expected to continue over some parts of karela as well as Karnataka. In fact, these rainfall activities will be more on this side as compared to the state of Tamil Nadu.

While north interior Karnataka may not see rainfall South interior parts of the state are expected to see some light to moderate rains including Bengaluru. These rainfall activities over the southern peninsula are expected to last for the next two to three days as part of the Pre monsoon season phenomena.
