In the wake of an induced cyclonic circulation over parts of West Rajasthan, on and off pre-Monsoon weather activities in the form of dust storm followed by spell of rain and thundershowers are expected to continue over most parts of Rajasthan during the next 48 hours.
After a short spell of dry weather condition, dust storm activity followed by rain and thundershowers are being witnessed in parts of Rajasthan with varied intensity for the last few days. In fact, yesterday too some parts of the state witnessed pre-Monsoon weather activities.
Although these weather activities were only for a short duration and patchy in nature, they certainly helped in pulling down the temperature in most places of Rajasthan.
During the pre-Monsoon season so far, heat wave conditions have been few in Rajasthan. Some pockets did observe heat in between but continuous effect of Western Disturbances and their induced cyclonic circulations helped in keeping extreme heat at bay in the state.
In the coming days, relief from high temperatures is expected due to the effect of the cyclonic circulation over parts of Rajasthan. Pre-Monsoon weather activities will continue in the state for a couple of days.
From May 25, the rainy weather in Rajasthan will start clearing up and temperatures will gradually being to increase.
