Since few days, pollution level in Delhi has been settling on the lower side. At present, the city is witnessing pollution in the ‘moderate’ category. Clean air is being witnessed all over the area.
Talking about weather in Delhi, the city is gearing up for a rainy episode starting this afternoon. On and off rains will be witnessed till tomorrow over the entire region. Also, as the rains come to an end, by March 16, moderate’ to ‘strong’ winds from Northwest will commence over the national capital.
If anything, this weather pattern is sure to have its impact on the pollution levels in Delhi. High velocity winds will prevent pollutants to accumulate in the atmosphere, thus providing clean air for us to breath.
The pollution levels during this period are expected to drop in the city and settle under ‘satisfactory’ category for the next few days days.
The people of Delhi can breathe easy for the rest of the month as intermittent rains are expected throughout March, which will help in washing away pollutants from the area.
