Dry weather has been prevailing in Bengaluru for almost a month now. It was last on December 13 when Bengaluru recorded some traces of rains after which, the weather went on to become dry.

Though as per Skymet Weather, January is the least rainy period for the city with the average monthly mean of 1.9 mm only. Skymet Weather reiterates that generally, the Garden City receives most amounts of rainfall during the Southwest Monsoon commencing from May until October wherein, September is usually the rainiest. However, some number of spells are also witnessed in the month of November, receding thereafter.

Or it is due to the offshoot of any weather system brewing in the Bay of Bengal that would lash Tamil Nadu or any weather system affecting the weather of Kerala that results in rains in Bengaluru.

According to Skymet Weather, this year also, Bengaluru seems to follow similar lines as no rains have occurred in the last 10 days. Moreover, chances of any good spells are also not anticipated as of now and the possibilities are very low.

Though a trough of low has given light to moderate with isolated heavy rains over Tamil Nadu last day, Bengaluru being situated just at the peripherals of the system missed these rains. However, the city may get to witness some light spells, but the chances are very bleak.

Another unique feature of the weather of Bengaluru is that the city enjoys pleasant weather almost throughout the year. Sparring the months of April and May, otherwise, the remaining months offer pleasant days with mild warm mornings and pleasantly cold nights.

Moreover, the city gets to witness some low clouds and mild fog that does not last for a longer duration and clears up fast with bright sunshine coming up.
