The long weekend is just approaching and some of you must have already made plans for the weekend getaway. For all those devotees who are planning to visit the famous Holy Shrine Vaishno Devi, good news is on cards.
This is the perfect time to plan and tour the famous Hindu shrine. Vaishno Devi has been lashed by rains, snow, and hailstorm in the past few months that have made the devotees halt their plans to visit the divine place.
As per Skymet Weather, Vaishno Devi is clear off any weather activity. Though a Western Disturbance is likely to approach the Western Himalayan region but this will be feeble in nature and hence, will fail to give any rains in Vaishno Devi. However, Jammu and Kashmir along with Himachal Pradesh can brace for some rains.
Katra will remain warm with the maximum settling at 30°C and minimum resting close to 15°C. On the contrary, Vaishno Devi being on an altitude will remain comparatively cooler. As the temperature is pretty comfortable, pilgrims will find it easier to walk the 14-kilometer stretch.
Hence, weather-wise, it is the best time to visit Vaishno Devi this weekend.
