Passage of the successive Western Disturbances coming from Afghanistan have been travelling in upper latitudes and are continuously influencing the weather over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh. However, these Western Disturbances were feeble in nature and as a result no such heavy rains and snowfall have been experienced but weather has become pleasant.
On and off scattered light rains are likely to continue over Jammu and Kashmir due to the presence of a fresh Western Disturbance. Isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh have also experienced scattered rains. There is also a possibility of snowfall in upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir. But the weather is expected to become clear in the next 24 hours.
