Although, another active Western Disturbance is expected around March 21 and March 22, but rains and snow will be of lesser intensity during that period.

Currently, the Western Disturbance has moved away, and we expect dry and sunny weather to prevail over the hilly states of North India for the coming two to three days. Day temperatures will rise.

Meanwhile, for the next 24 – 48 hours, chances of avalanches will increase due to the melting of snow. Thus, tourists who are planning to visit the hills must ensure their safety as there are chances of avalanches specially in the higher reaches of the hills. Maximum temperatures will rise, and winds will also become strong.

The weather of North Indian Hills will be pleasant and cool making it the best time to visit for tourists. Hilly resorts of Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Rohtang Pass, Kufri, Auli, Manali, Dalhousie are all ready to welcome their tourists with pleasant weather conditions.
