Despite clear skies and lack of a weather system, day temperatures in Delhi will not rise and the weather in Delhi will remain pleasant for the next two to three days. Northwesterly winds blowing at a good speed are not letting the maximum temperatures in Delhi to rise. Delhi recorded a maximum of 19.6°C on Sunday.

According to our forecast, these winds would continue to dominate the temperature in Delhi/NCR till Wednesday. From Thursday onwards winds would again turn to become easterly due to the emergence of another cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan and the arrival of a fresh Western Disturbance. Owing to this, the weather in Delhi could once again become cloudy with chances of rain in Delhi by weekend. Day conditions during the weekend could be cold as the sun will be in hiding.

Early morning hours in Delhi will continue to remain cool with temperatures settling around 10°C. On Monday, the minimum temperature recorded was 9.6°C, two degrees more than what was recorded on Sunday morning. Our meteorologists expect that the chill during the morning hours will continue to persist till Thursday after which the minimums are expected to rise a little during the weekend, providing some relief from the cold morning weather.
