Pleasant weather conditions to continue over Central India

From the last few days, many areas of Central India including parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are observing pleasant weather condition and hardly any rainfall activity.

This absence of rainfall can be attributed to the shifting of axis of Monsoon trough over foothills of Himalayas. This movement of axis of Monsoon trough and no major weather system prevailing over the region makes the rainfall activity to take a break over entire Northwest India.

Though the normal date of withdrawal of Monsoon is also September 1, but in spite of significant decrease in rain and humidity, withdrawal of Monsoon has not yet commenced from Rajasthan. But easterly and southeasterly winds which were warm and humid are replaced by dry northwesterly winds.

Due to these dry winds, night and morning temperatures over most parts of West Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have decreased and pleasant weather condition is prevailing during mornings and night.

As the sky is clear, the day temperatures have risen marginally. So we can say that the difference between maximum temperature and minimum temperature is high. So for the next few days, day temperatures will be higher and night temperatures will be pleasant.
