Pleasant weather awaits hills of North India; best time to tour

The hills of North India have been witnessing dry weather from the last 6-7 days. Sparing a few regions, otherwise, the weather of the hills of North India has remained mainly dry and somewhat similar weather is anticipated to pursue for the next few hours as well.

Within the span of the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Friday also mainly the isolated places of Uttarakhand in districts such as Haridwar observed 5 mm of rains, Dehradun 3.4 mm, and Nainital witnessed 3 mm of rainy spells.

As per Skymet Weather, a fresh Western Disturbance as an upper air system is seen over North Pakistan and adjoining Afghanistan. Moreover, the axis of Monsoon trough is passing through Amritsar, and Ambala towards the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.

In the wake of this, scattered light rains are likely in Uttarakhand and some parts of Himachal Pradesh. However, rains in Jammu and Kashmir will remain on the lower side. Hence, pleasant and cool morning and night are likely in parts the hilly regions of North India for the next 24 hours.

Plains in the hilly regions may witness comfortable weather as the day will be dry with blowing of the northwesterly wind. Sky will remain partly cloudy. As the rain activity is likely to occur during late afternoon hours that too for a shorter duration, this is the perfect time to visit the Northern hills.
