Northwestern plains became the first witnesses of Monsoon commencement every time it sets in. Since the time Monsoon-withdrawal has come, commencement of withdrawal of rains is expected to start from western parts of Rajasthan anytime soon.
Rajasthan is likely to continue with dry spells in the upcoming 48 hours. South-westerly light to moderate winds will prevail. Mornings will remain comfortable with a warm afternoon and a mainly clear sky.
Talking about Punjab, this Northwestern state comprises of foothills along with green lands and arid regions which are adjoining Rajasthan. In the next 24 hours, northeastern parts of Punjab may receive short spell of thundershower activity today due to the presence of a Western Disturbance over Jammu & Kashmir. The rainfall activity is expected to increase tomorrow onwards.
Mainly dry weather is likely over Southwest Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. The day will be warm over most parts of this region. Temperatures will vary between 34° to 36°C. Morning and night will become pleasant. Marginal drop in night temperatures may be experienced.
Delhi will experience dry weather with comfortable morning and night. Temperatures will remain high during days and nights. Few clouds might appear over the area.
