In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Tuesday, Nainital witnessed light rain of 14 mm and Nahan 9.2 mm. These light rains occurred due to the Western Disturbance persisting over Jammu and Kashmir and the axis of Monsoon trough that is running along the foothills of Himalayas.
