The weather over Bengaluru has been dry throughout December barring one or two days. The last spell of good rains was witnessed on the first two days of the month, after which the weather went completely dry.

It is not very common for the state capital to witness such prolonged dry spell. However, the city was able to surpass its monthly average rainfall of 15.7 mm in the initial two days, wherein it recorded 20 mm of rain. These rains were under the influence of Cyclone Ockhi.
According to Skymet Weather, rains have remained absent in absence of any significant weather system over the region. Further, also we do not expect any changes in the weather conditions during the next few days.
Weathermen do not forecast any weather system approaching Bengaluru, at least for the next one week. At present, maximum and minimum temperatures are settling near normal. Sky conditions would also remain clear.

Day maximums would continue to settle in the comfortable range around 26°C or 27°C, while minimum temperatures will be marginally below normal between 15°C-16°C.
The city would also continue to witness foggy morning. Normally during this time of the year, moderate to dense fog occurs during the early morning hours, reducing the visibility to around 400-500 meters. This fog is short lived and remains for an hour and so. However, after the dissipation of fog visibility improves rapidly.
