While Monsoon has got active over Indian coast with Kerala receiving heavy rain since past few days, other parts of the country are enjoying the pre-Monsoon showers.
Rain in Odisha has been a result of a trough that is extending from West Bengal up to Rayalseema across coastal Odisha. Moreover, a cyclonic circulation present over southern tip of Chhattisgarh is also giving enough moisture to the trough.
Owing to the trough, moderate to heavy rain is expected to continue over coastal parts of Odisha till next 24 hours. Owing to rain, maximum temperature in these parts have come down by 2-3 degrees and this dip is expected to remain arrested keeping cool weather intact.
