The weekend is approaching, and it’s yet another opportunity to have an enjoyable time with family and friends. If you’re ready to beat the heat then pack your bags and move to the hills of North India to experience the pleasant weather.
Since last two days, hilly states has been recording on and off rain and thundershowers on account of successive Western Disturbances over the states. Now, we do not expect any weather activities over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next three to four days.
Weather will remain dry and sunny though a few patches of clouds may form. Otherwise, the weather will remain cool, pleasant and sunny which is perfect for a weekend getaway.

Hill stations of the land of heaven,' Jammu and Kashmir' will have pleasant weather, with maximum day temperature over Leh and Pahalgam will be 21°C - 23°C and the minimum temperature will be in the range of 6°C – 8°C. Whereas in Srinagar the day will be warm with day maximums at 25°C – 26°C but during night, the temperatures will fall leading to a cool night.
It’s the perfect time for paying to visit the Holy Shrine of Vaishno Devi as the maximum day temperatures are likely to be around 25°C – 26°C.
Similarly, in Himachal Pradesh, Kullu and Shimla will be a little warm with maximum day temperatures around 28-29°C. Night is likely to remain pleasant with minimum temperatures of 13-16°C.
Snow covered hills of Manali is likely to have a sunny day with maximum day temperatures settling around 25°C – 26°C. The cool breeze blowing over Manali will drop the temperatures by evening.
The queen of hills, Mussoorie and the city of lakes, Nainital in Uttarakhand will have comfortably warm and sunny days with maximum temperatures of 26°C – 27°C and minimum temperatures of 13°C - 14°C. The maximum day temperature of Rishikesh will also be around 30°C - 32°C, which makes is perfect for river rafting.
