At present, dry weather is prevailing over the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. Places like Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Bokaro in Jharkhand while, Gaya, Patna and Bhagalpur in Bihar are experiencing pleasant mornings followed by comfortable afternoons.
The weather system ‘Confluence Zone’ is over the central parts of the country, which is extending up till Coastal Karnataka. This system would shift further towards in northeast directions and will extend from North Bengal up till Vidarbha. Further, this system will intensify and move in east directions.
In wake of this system, rain and thundershower activities will start tomorrow afternoon onward over Bihar and Jharkhand. These activities will intensify gradually over most parts of the state and will be at peak between February 25 and 27. Moderate with isolated heavy spells and thundershower followed by gusty winds may also occur during these days.
According to Skymet Weather, thundersquall with moderate lightning strike will occur over the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. There are also bright chances of hailstorm at isolated parts on February 26.
Places like Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad, Daltonganj in Jharkhand while, Gaya, Patna, Aurangabad Bhagalpur, Purnia and Kishanganj in Bihar will experience these activities.
