Delhi and the NCR region saw the onset of monsoon two days prior to its original date of June 27. On June 25, Mumbai also saw the onset of monsoon, but a delayed one.
Since then, Delhi and the NCR region have been seeing lower temperatures than usual and varied intensity of rainfall activity. As far as the coming days are concerned, we expect cloudy skies as well as patchy rains over Delhi and the NCR region for another few days.
Rainfall activity is expected to see an increase over the national capital during the weekend, wherein we may see some intense rainfall activities as the Monsoon trough will run very close to Delhi, increasing rains. As far as the temperatures are concerned, they will continue to be below normal levels.
