Now, as predicted by Skymet Weather, rains are witnessing a reducing trend. However, with lots of moisture available in the atmosphere, we expect rains to make some more appearances over the national capital.
As per weathermen, the axis of Monsoon trough continues to move in close proximity to Delhi-NCR and so does the cyclonic circulation persist over Haryana and adjoining areas. However, both the systems are now getting less marked and moving northwards.
Thus, weather conditions are favourable for rains to continue over the city for the next two days. Chances would be more over Monday evening, while Tuesday might see some isolated activity. As reiterated, these rains would be patchy in nature, giving light showers at some places, while few might see intense spells.
However, absence of rains during the day would lead to increase in day maximums that might reach up to 33°C.
Rains are most likely to vacate Delhi-NCR by September 12, marking the return of warm and humid days. Particularly, afternoons would be slightly uneasy. Day maximums would also see rise but morning and nights would be better comparatively.
Delhi is now gradually gearing up for withdrawal of Monsoon, which would most likely take place during the next 10-15 days.
