The state of Madhya Pradesh has been seeing low minimums in some parts. In the month of October, during the transition period of Monsoon withdrawal and setting in of winters, parts of Madhya Pradesh tend to get cold slightlkyb as compared to others.
The main reason for such weather conditions is the presence of the Satpura and Vindhya mountain ranges. Elevation is not much and both the ranges are east west oriented but as they run parallel to each other, they tend to drop temperatures in some parts.
Today morning, Malanjkhand, Pachmarhi, and Chhindwara have seen a minimum below 15 degrees, the lowest being over Pachmarhi at 14.6 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are expected to continue in the coming days as well.
