Parts of Delhi NCR may see some showers today, to take a backseat tomorrow

Delhi and the NCR region have mostly been away from rains. However, some pockets in the NCR region did see some decent showers yesterday including Noida as well as Greater Noida. For most parts of Delhi, the spread and the intensity were not that much mainly in central and southern regions except a few areas including Ayanagar which recorded 14 mm of rains and Pusa 12.5 mm.

The troughline continues to remain to the north of its normal position, closer to the foothills. It looks like the trough is closer to the foothills as compared to its proximity to Delhi. However, some rainfall activity may be seen today, being of short duration and intermittent in nature.

Tomorrow onward, rains will reduce over Delhi except a few localised showers. Thereafter, there aren't any chances of the national capital and adjoining areas seeing rains.

There has not been much change in the weather system situation due to which similar weather activity will be seen in the coming days with rains being farther away.
