The last week of July remained almost dry forBengaluru. Rains commenced over the city August 4 onward. These on and off activities are continuing in the city until now. However, the intensity of rain picked up pace August 17 onward with moderate showers beeing observed in Bengaluru.
According to the rainfall data available with Skymet, 5 mm ofrain was recorded in Bengaluru in a span of 24 hours from 8.30 am on Thursday.
Talking about the forecast, rainfall activities are now expected to reduce over South Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru in the coming days. However, there are chances of scattered rain activities over the city, today and tomorrow.Rains will only be observed in patchesand will not be very heavy in intensity.
The weather in Bengaluru is expected to remain pleasant during this period. Day temperature is expected to settle between 26 and 27 degrees Celsius for another 48 hours.
Thereafter, there may be a marginal increase of 2-3 degrees in the maximum temperature. Also, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy throughout. Thus, citizens of Bengaluru will observe comfortable weather for the next few days.
