Due to the presence of an active Western Disturbance over Pakistan and an induced Cyclonic Circulation over Punjab, clouding was observed over the regions of North Haryana, Punjab and Northwest Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, light rains were recorded at some places along the foothills. Few drops of rain were also recorded over the Delhi region in a few pockets.
The Cyclonic Circulation now lies over Haryana and adjoining areas. And a Western Disturbance lies over Jammu and Kashmir.
Due to these weather systems, partly cloudy sky will continue to persist over Punjab, North Haryana, Northwest Uttar Pradesh for the next 24 hours. Also, isolated thundershower activities is likely to occur along the foothills during the next 24 hours.
As we expect the induced Cyclonic Circulation to become insignificant in the next 24 hours, and Northerly-Northwesterly to replace Southeasterly-Southerly winds, day temperatures are expected to drop over most places of Northwest plains.
Morning will remain cool yet pleasant with thick mist and haze. Night temperatures are likely to drop significantly after 24 hours. Sky will mainly remain clear.
