After 3 days of clear weather conditions, another Western Disturbance will start affecting the western Himalayas by tonight, February 9.
Its effects will trickle down to the plains of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi by the 10th. Initially, on the 9th isolated rain and snow will start over Jammu and Kashmir.
By February 10, both spread and intensity of rainfall will increase and many parts of Himachal Pradesh will start receiving rain and snow. North Punjab may also get light rain and thundershowers on the 10th.

Rain and snow will continue over the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand till about February 11. On February 10 and 11, several places in Haryana including Yamuna Nagar, Ambala, Karnal, and Kurukshetra will receive light rainfall.
Delhi will have partly cloudy skies only. But, few drop or light drizzle cannot be ruled out.
Minimum temperatures over the Northwest plains will start rising on the 10th and on the 11th there will a rise of 2 to 3 degree Celsius over entire northern plains. As the Western Disturbance will start moving eastwards by the12th, minimums will once again take a dip.
