After remaining dry for around 20 days, the city of Pune has received good showers yesterday. Now condition are favorable for pre-Monsoon activity to pick up pace over Pune.
The cyclonic circulation which is over east central Arabian Sea of Karnataka coast is expected to move in northerly direction along the coast. And many parts of Konkan-Goa and Madhya Maharashtra will get moderate to heavy rain thundershowers activity.
Pune may also get isolated rain and thundershower activity for the next 24 hour, thereafter rain intensity may increase June 7 onwards.
Around June 9-12, we expect fairly widespread rain activity over Pune. Temperatures may also fall by 2-3 degree Celsius and comfortable weather condition will prevail over the city.
Monsoon normally reaches Pune around June 10, but this time we expect a delay of 4-5 days for Monsoon to reach Pune. Till then on and off rain and thundershower activity will continue over the region.
These rains will be confided to late afternoon evenings or early morning hours.
