On and off light rains in Bengaluru, comfortable weather ahead

During the last 24 hours, the city of Bengaluru observed light rainfall activities. However, if we look at the past days, November 5 onwards, Bengaluru has been continually observing dry weather conditions.

Further, the expectation of any good rains has now become bleak for Bengaluru as Cyclone Gaja has already crossed South Tamil Nadu coast and is presently moving towards Kerala across Interior Tamil Nadu. Owing to this, its impact over South Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru will be minimal.

Although, we expect isolated light rains over Bengaluru but any moderate to heavy rain activity is ruled out as of now. Rains may increase marginally over the city on November 18 and 19. Thereafter weather will once again become dry. However, the day and night temperatures will remain cool and comfortable.

Another spell of light rain is expected around November 22 and 23 when a Low-Pressure Area will move across North Tamil Nadu and may affect South Interior Karnataka as well as Bengaluru. This is sure to bring along some added sigh of relief for the residents.

So, we can say that on and off rains are on the guard, but heavy showers cannot be expected for at least the next one week.
