According to our meteorologist, northerly to northwesterly winds are penetrating the state causing the minimums in the state especially in the interior parts to drop. Day temperatures in Odisha are in settling in the late twenties. Sambalpur was the warmest place in the state on Tuesday with a maximum of 29.5°C. The maximum temperature in Titlagarh was recorded at 29.5°C.
As far as night temperatures are concerned, they will start rising once the Western Disturbance arrives in North India and winds change from northwesterly to southeasterly. But daytime in these parts would get warmer with each passing day due to clear sky and more surface heating.
