Talking of the weather condition over the state, mostly dry weather has remained prevalent over Nagaland, along with partly cloudy to cloudy sky conditions. However, isolated light rain was observed over northern portion of the state during the last 24 hours.

The occurrence of these isolated showers could be attributed to the Western Disturbance which was over East Tibetan region, along with an upper air cyclonic circulation over northeastern parts of Bangladesh and adjoining parts of Assam. Now, both the systems have shifted east-northeastwards.

As per Skymet Weather, isolated light rains may occur, but occasionally and over northern areas of Nagaland only for another 24 hours. During this period, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy. Days would remain comfortable and nights will be cool.

In addition, due to the cloud cover, the minimum temperatures will register an upward trend but marginally over many parts of the state. However, nights would remain cold over maximum portion of the state.

As of now, looking at the weather models, weathermen do not expect any significant rain activity over Nagaland for at least one week.
