Usually in the month of November, Delhi and the NCR region along with other North Indian plains start witnessing fog on some days. In the year 2021, Delhi and the NCR region saw 10 fog days in the month of November. This year however the situation has been completely opposite.
The month of November has come to an end and there has not been even a single day of thick fog observed in Delhi. The visibility dropped during a couple of occasions but that was on account of pollution which had resulted in smog.
Lack of active Western Disturbances resulted in the situation of fog remaining absent from Delhi and the NCR region. Skies remained clear and no weather activity was observed over the city. Western Disturbances in the hills were feeble in nature and had no effect over the plains.
