Northwest India to experience cool weather conditions

October 10, 2016 4:28 PM |

Weather in Rajasthan

Southwest Monsoon has already withdrawn from most parts of Northwest India on October 8. Now northwesterly dry winds are going over the region. But a feeble cyclonic circulation which has developed over Northwest Rajasthan has once again increased the humidity over parts of Rajasthan and adjoining Haryana and Delhi.

In the wake of this cyclonic circulation, we expect isolated rain thundershowers activity to continue over Rajasthan for next 24 hours. Thereafter weather will once again go dry. We expect this feeble cyclonic circulation to become insignificant in next 24 hours.

The normal flow of northwestern dry winds will once again commence over most parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan and a few areas of North Madhya Pradesh.

Due to continuation of these northwest winds humidity levels will reduce significantly. Due to decrease humidity, the ongoing sultry weather conditions will end and days will be comfortably warm and sunny. Morning and nights will become largely comfortable.

Gradual decrease in minimum temperatures will commence now and in another one week, the light winter-like feelings will be felt during early mornings and night.
