The heat has been building across the northwestern plains with many parts observing maximums above 40 degrees, including Delhi, Hisar, Amritsar, Rohtak, Sri Ganganagar, etc.
However, some good news in the form of a change in weather activities is on the cards. The northwestern parts of the country are all set to see some widespread spells of rain and thunderstorm activity along with thundershowers. Parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh starting tomorrow.
These rains will be courtesy of a Western Disturbance, which will arrive tomorrow with the support of a Circulation over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab. Mild activity may begin tonight.
Tomorrow onward, dust storm, thunderstorm, lightning strikes, and rains along with the possibility of hailstorm is on the cards for the region. These activities will continue until May 27 abating heat wave conditions from these areas.
