Seems like PM Narendra Modi is all set to charm his voters much before the 2019 elections arrive. Today NaMo while taking a detour from National Capital Delhi will arrive at the trio Northeast states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
First thing in the morning, at Arunachal Pradesh PM is first supposed to lay the foundation stone for a greenfield airport in the morning before heading out to Guwahati, Assam where he is set to kick off construction of a six-lane bridge, an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and a bio-diesel refinery. Later in the day, Modi is scheduled to fly to Tripura to address a public rally.
PM might face some difficulty
But as the axis of weather has now shifted to Northeast India after giving tremendous rains and thundershowers back at North India, PM’s plans might face some difficulty.
During the last 24 hours, we observed widespread rain and thundershower activities with strong gusty winds over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. The Cyclonic Circulation now lies over Assam and adjoining areas. The rain are further expected to intensify today.
Weather throughout the day
Back at Arunachal Pradesh from where PM will start his day, we expect few spells of moderate rain and thundershower with isolated heavy showers and hailstorm. The higher reaches of the state might even receive light snow.
After covering Arunachal Pradesh, PM will head onto Assam. Today it’s being forecast that places like Guwahati may receive light to moderate rain and thundershower with gusty winds and a mainly overcast sky. However, towards the afternoon weather will clear up a little.
Tripura comparatively, will have rather less activity with a cloudy sky and light rain and thundershower.
While Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur will receive rain and thundershower at scattered places. This activity will decrease after 24 hours and the weather will improve tomorrow onward.
