The Northeast Monsoon affects five sub divisions inclusive of South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. In this, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Coastal Karnataka have been seeing good rains.
On the other hand, the South Interior Karnataka region has not seen a lot of rains and the situation is likely to remain so in the coming days. The weather systems in the form of Cyclonic Circulations are reaching Tamil Nadu and Kerala, but that too southern parts of these states. In the last 24 hours, some parts of Bengaluru and Mandya saw some rains, but that too was only a few areas
For over a week, weather conditions will remain on the milder side and rains will only pick up pace after November 10 or so.
